Man Fatally Shoots Younger Brother At Oakland County Home: Police

The victim's mother told investigators the two brothers got into an augment that escalated to the deadly shooting, according to police.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI β€” A man was arrested after fatally shooting his brother Saturday at a home in Farmington Hills, according to police.

Officers found a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest at a home on the 33000 block of Saratoga Circle, near 11 Mile Road and Halsted Road, at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, according to police.

The victim was taken to Corewell Hospital Farmington Hills where he later died, according to police.

The victim's mother told officers the man got into an argument with his 30-year-old brother, who then fired a shot that struck the victim and ran away from the scene, according to police.

Investigators then arrested the older son in connection with the deadly shooting Sunday at roughly 12:45 p.m. in the area of 11 Mile Road and Groesbeck, with the help of Warren Police, according to police.
