Man Shot Multiple Times At Farmington Hills Gas Station: Police

Police said they arrested the accused shooter at the scene after he called 911, while the 26-year-old man was in critical condition.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI β€” A Southfield man was shot multiple times Monday night in the parking lot of a Farmington Hills gas station, police said. The 26-year-old man was taken to Beaumont Hospital and was listed in critical condition.

Officers said a 23-year-old Farmington Hills man shot the 26-year-old Southfield man multiple times at 10:36 p.m. in the parking lot of the Shell gas station at 12 Mile and Orchard Lake roads.

The Farmington Hills man called police to report the shooting and stayed at the scene, where he was arrested without incident, officials said.

Authorities said the two men knew each other and the shooting was not random, therefore there is no threat to the public.
