New Farmington Gym Offers Free Classes

The gym, called "The Public Gym"​ is encouraging people to take advantage of its free high-intensity, low-Impact classes.

FARMINGTON, MI — A new gym opening in Farmington will offer free high-intensity, low-impact classes through the rest of the year.

The gym, called "The Public Gym" will open Saturday, Oct. 16 at 32326 Grand River Ave from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The free high-intensity, low-impact classes will be offered three times a week, where participants will learn to burn calories and protect their joints.

The gym will also offer public CrossFit classes, in which participants will receive equipment, coaching and programming.

The gym's owner, Kevin Murphy encouraged people to find their untapped potential and change their lives.
