New Mental Health Support Group at Botsford Hospital

The NAMI Metro Connection Support Group is for people living with mental illness

Botsford Hospital has a new support group: the National Alliance on Mental Illness, or NAMI. The first meeting: March 5. Meets 7-9 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month. Classroom A/B, Zieger Building, Botsford Hospital, 28050 Grand River, Farmington Hills. The NAMI Metro Connection Support Group is for people living with mental illness. Learn from others’ experiences, share coping strategies and offer encouragement and understanding. A trained volunteer facilitates. The powerful exchange among group members can induce lasting change. Attend when convenient. Open format allows you to feel some degree of anonymity and to participate as much as you are comfortable.
