Part of Middlebelt Road About to Close for Sewer Project
Local access will be provided during the course of the project, which is expected to last through the early fall.

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – A section of Middlebelt Road in Farmington Hills will close for several months for a sewer tunnel construction project.
The road will be closed south of 13 Mile Road between Wellington Road and Chenwood Court, the Oakland County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office and the city of Farmington Hills said in a news release.

The contractor for the project is Ric-Man Construction Inc. Middlebelt Road is expected to re-open to traffic in mid-October.
Until then, residential access within the construction area will be maintained. The detour route for through traffic will be 13 Mile Road to Inkster Road to 12 Mile Road and back to Middlebelt Road or vice versa.
