Ashwini M. Shadakshari, M.D., has joined the medical staff at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills. She is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, osteoporosis, fibromyalgia, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and other autoimmune diseases.
Dr. Shadakshari earned her medical degree in India. She completed a three-year internal medicine residency at SUNY University Hospital of Brooklyn at Long Island College Hospital, NY. She also served a two-year fellowship at SUNY Upstate University Hospital, Syracuse, NY.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.
