Rochester Seeks Make A Difference Day Volunteers

"Mulch-a-Palooza" on May 12 will beautify Rochester Municipal Park.

ROCHESTER, MI — The Rochester City Beautiful Commission is looking for volunteers for the 2018 City of Rochester Make-a-Difference Day on May 12. The clean-up event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will take place in the Rochester Municipal Park and is themed this year “Mulch-a-Palooza.”

Residents 15 years or older are invited to come out and help spread mulch, pull weeds and plant perennials in the park. Volunteers should dress for garden work and bring work gloves. Everyone will check in at 10 a.m. in front of City Hall, 400 6th.
