Teen Dies In Crash During Police Chase In Oakland County: Police
Police said the teen crashed a stolen car after officers tried stopping the car Tuesday evening in Southfield.
SOUTHFIELD, MI — A teen died and two girls were injured Tuesday evening after a crash during a police chase in Southfield, according to police.
Officers tried stopping a stolen Kia that a 19-year-old man was driving at 7:30 p.m. at Westhampton and Evergreen road, according to police.
The teen sped away from officers and immediately smashed into a fence on Evergreen Road between Westhampton and Westover, according to police.

The driver and two 17-year-old girls, who were passengers inside the stolen car were taken to a nearby hospital where the man died, according to police.
The two 17-year-old girls were treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
