The Salvation Army of Farmington Hills Corps Community Center is accepting applications for its Summer Day Camp. Summer day camp is open to children ages five to 12 and will be held weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Salvation Army Farmington Hills Corps Community Center, 27500 Shiawassee, from June 16 through Aug. 8. Cost is $65 per week per child plus a one-time $100 registration fee per family.
Summer day camp programs focus on helping kids build self-esteem, avoid boredom and stay active during summer break. Daily activities at the camp include arts and crafts, music and drama, non-denominational Bible lessons, field trips, educational and community events and a variety of recreational and social activities.
Early registration is encouraged as space is limited.

The Salvation Army Farmington Hills Corps Community Center has partnered with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to provide nutritious meals and snacks to all participants of the summer day camp. The Summer Food Service Program ensures children get the nutrition they need to learn, play and grow through the summer months. The meals will be provided without regard to race, color, national origin, age, sex, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.
