MSHDA or Michigan State Housing Development Authority has announced a down payment help program. How exciting! If you are currently renting or own your home but just don't have enough saved for a down payment on a new home don't worry! The new program is an FHA loan and you only need 1% down. How awesome is that? $7500 can also be allocated to cover the remaining costs of closing. There is a max sales price of $224,500 but in the local market that can get you a big, beautiful home!!
