Western & Southern Life to Host Career Night

Despite challenging economic trends in Detroit, company is growing… and hiring 

What: Western & Southern Life, which is celebrating the 125th anniversary of its founding in 1888, is hosting Western & Southern Life Career Night in Detroit for members of the local community to learn more about the company and local career opportunities.

When: Thursday, Oct.10, 7-8:30 p.m.

Who: Western & Southern Life executives and human resources professionals will be on hand to answer questions and discuss career opportunities with the company. Why: At a time when unemployment rates in Greater Detroit and the surrounding counties are on the rise, Western & Southern Life is seeking to fuel its Detroit-area growth with the addition of 25 local sales representatives. The effort is part of the company’s nationwide recruiting initiative that began in early 2013 aimed at hiring as many as 1,100 financial representatives.
