Where Did Your School Rank in Michigan's 100 Best High Schools?
To score well on U.S. News & World Report's annual ranking, a school must serve all students well, not just those who are college-bound.

Seven Michigan high schools rank among the 500 best schools in the nation, according to the annual U.S. News & World Report Best High Schools ranking. The 2016 list was released April 18.
The highly regarded International Academy in Bloomfield Hills ranked ninth, and the International Academy of Macomb in Clinton Township ranked 12th.
Both were among only seven Gold Medal winners in Michigan. Others in the Metro Detroit area were Birminghamβs Ernest W. Seaholm High School, ranked 445th nationally and sixth in the state; and Saline High School, ranked 488th nationally and seventh in the state.

The U.S. News rankings include data on more than 21,000 public high schools in 50 states and the District of Columbia Schools were awarded gold, silver or bronze medals based on their performance on state assessments, their graduation rates and how well they prepare students for college.
