Who's Your Donny Tattoo Company Completes Remodel
The Fenton business adds privacy curtains, a seafaring wall mural and new flooring.
Donny Morrison and his staff at bring visions of body art to life.
With a clean health and safety record, the shop is proud to be a business that gives back to the Fenton community. It offers services including tattoos and body piercings from its newly remodeled quarters at 1012 N. LeRoy St., Suite A, in Fenton.
The shop sells several types of body accessories and does a lot of piercings, which can be installed all over the body.

“We pierce everything from your nose down,” Morrison said.
The remodeling project was completed in early July. Morrison said he is a big fan of bright colors, so staff added more color to the shop, new privacy curtains, a seafaring wall mural and new flooring.

The focus of the business hasn't changed, however.
Popular piercings include the navel and the Monroe, an earring placed above the upper lip to resemble Marilyn Monroe’s famous beauty mark.
Although it specializes in black and gray, white, color, henna, portrait, touch-up, cover-up and traditional tattoos, the shop creates all sizes and most types of tattoo designs.
“We do absolutely everything,” Morrison said.
Who’s Your Donny Tattoo Company does almost all custom art with nearly no “flash,” which means a piece you pick from a book. Customers often come to the shop with a set vision of what will be inked on their body, but sometimes they need a creative eye to bring a vision to life.
“People can come to us with their idea. We sketch out an image and see if they like it,” tattoo installer Matt Riddle said.
The crew has done it all, from miniature tattoos to pieces covering an entire back. Smaller tattoos are completed in one visit, while larger ones are done in sessions. Tattoo prices depend on size and location on your body.
“Some tattoos are harder to work on,” explained Riddle.
Areas like the underarms, necks and ribs can be difficult, as well as more painful for customers.
Morrison said the shop has a lot to be proud of, including its perfect safety record.
“We have always scored 100 percent on health inspections,” he said. “We are also blood-borne pathogen, first-aid and CPR certified.”
The shop is fully licensed and uses autoclave sterilization on all tools, as well as new needles for each customer. Just as the crew places importance on health and safety, the shop also has a sweet spot for charity work.
In 2010 the shop participated in a bic4good.com fundraiser in which BIC committed to donating $444 for every video of a head being shaved. The staff lined up several volunteers in the parking lot, started recording and began shaving heads for the cause. During the event, Who’s Your Donny raised $14,000, which was donated to dosomething.org.
“We do a lot of charity work,” said Morrison.
Each year, the shop plans several events to benefit the community. Morrison said he is in the process of planning another event this summer so people can take part in helping a good cause and also see the updated look of the shop.
Awards that Who’s Your Donny has won over the years are also on display at the shop. Morrison and his staff welcome visitors to come in and check out the shop or call 810-750-0101.
The shop is open from 1-10 p.m. seven days a week.
