Grego said a letter from the state informing him of the bounced check “basically fell through the cracks.”

Police arrived at the restaurant a week ago to pull Como’s license. Because of the Christmas holiday, Grego wasn’t able to to reach state regulatory officials until Monday, when he drove to Lansing and paid two invoices totaling $1,028.40.

On Facebook, Como’s said that “after a slight hiccup, we are back to #serving.”
