JFK Interim Principal Will Stay On Next School Year

Pauline Nagle announced as the 2011-12 principal.

Pauline Nagle, interim principal of John F. Kennedy School, will stay on as fulltime principal for the 2011-12 school year.

"I have been extremely pleased with her work, and as you know from her work over the past few weeks, her skills and experience will ensure our students and staff benefit from continuity in their programs and consistency over the next year," Ferndale Public Schools Superintendent Gary Meier wrote  in a letter to JFK parents and guardians.

Nagle took over for Shepich had been at the school since the start of the 2010-11 school year. The district said the Shepich resigned to pursue other interests.

Nagle, before being appointed interim principal, served as the Ferndale Schools coordinator of elementary instruction since 2008.
