• Ferndale Pride to move event to August due to Nine Mile construction (candgnews.com) — Ferndale's major West Nine Mile Reconstruction Project next spring will push the 2027 Ferndale Pride festival from June 5 to August 7, keeping the event centered around Affirmations Community Center. The investigation details how some Metro Detroit police searched Flock data for immigration-related reasons, prompting scrutiny from local officials and activists over surveillance, policy violations, and civil liberties.
