Select Michigan Dunkin' Donuts to Host "Cop on a Rooftop"

Local law enforcement is set to take to the rooftops of several Michigan Dunkin' Donut locations for the state's first-ever "Cop on a Rooftop" event benefiting the Special Olympics of Michigan on Friday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to noon.

Designed as a unique way to generate funds and awareness for the nonprofit, Special Olympics athletes and their families are among the special guests who will join law enforcement and rise to the occasion to show their support.

In honor of the Special Olympics athletes and law enforcement officers participating in the rooftop event, Dunkin' Donuts will provide each guest who visits a Cop on a Rooftop location that day to donate will receive a free donut coupon.

Cop of a Rooftop was created in 2003 by Dunkin' Donuts and the Special Olympics in Illinois. Today, more than 270 Dunkin' Donuts store participate in this great cause helping to raise a total of nearly $4 million for Special Olympics.
