Taste the Difference at the Bosco Café and Dessert Lounge

The popular downtown eatery has added more than just a new sign.

A news release:

The Bosco Café and Dessert Lounge has been one of the “in” places in downtown Ferndale for a great night out for over 16 years.

The location and atmosphere have always been the main draws, but now there are a few new additions to this establishment.  Jay Noonchester, The Bosco Café’s owner for the last three years, has recently transformed The Bosco Café with a number of new and exciting enhancements and improvements!

The Bosco Café now has its own grill for the very first time. Steve Hromek, chef, is excited for the opportunity to offer another dinning option in Ferndale.

“All our food offerings are approachable," he said. "Our focus is on shared plates.  We will have a little spin on classic Italian and Asian meals.”

The Bosco Café has spent a great amount of time reviewing the items on their menu and they have put-forth a very large investment in building a brand new kitchen into their café and lounge.

In addition, Noonchester has been very busy updating the entire main lounge area.  The Bosco Café now has a custom oak bar, custom made wood tables, reclaimed barn wood for the walls and an ornate designed birch tree wall towards the back of the lounge.

Noonchester is very passionate about his establishment and of Ferndale and his main goal was to capture a unique atmosphere, a little different from all the others.  “With the new grill and food offerings, this is a place to bring your friends, have a great night out, enjoy the music and also enjoy the city of Ferndale," he said.

The entire back patio area has also received an updating.  New seating, a brand new mini bar and grill, a covered area and new landscaping w/ stone work, planter boxes w/ flowers and trees.  There is now also a new doorway for the back patio area, for entering and exiting.

With all the new mentioned updates to The Bosco Café, don’t forget, this establishment still offers a wide selection of beers and mixed drinks.  Also, many of the items on the menu are from local Michigan companies, like Chazzano Coffee, roasted right here in Ferndale.

The hours for The Bosco Café are: Tuesday through Saturday from 5-11 p.m. Sunday will be available for private events and parties.
