TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants to Host Dine to Donate Benefiting Motown Museum

Portion of food sales to benefit Museum's mission to protect and preserve the legacy of Motown

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, is hosting a one-day Dine to Donate event on Wednesday, September 28 at five of its Applebee’s restaurant locations benefiting Motown Museum. TSFR Director of Marketing Barb Pasciak made the announcement.

Throughout the day, 10 percent of all guests’ food sales from the participating restaurants will be donated to the Museum. The funds raised will help support the Museum’s mission to protect and preserve the legacy of Motown and encourage the next generation of musicians, artists and entrepreneurs by providing an educational platform for emerging talent in the Detroit community through events and other educational opportunities.

The following TSFR Applebee’s restaurants will participate in the Dine to Donate:

“Each of our Applebee’s restaurants pull from the rich history throughout metro Detroit to create an unmatched neighborhood atmosphere that is inviting to local residents and uniquely representative of what makes our communities great,” said Pasciak. “It is an honor to partner with the Museum and support their efforts in ensuring the Motown legacy is preserved for years to come, allowing people around the world to experience the inspiring story of Motown.”

The Motown Museum, founded by Esther Gordy Edwards in 1985, is one of Southeast Michigan’s most popular tourist destinations. Home to an extensive array of Motown artifacts, photographs and other memorabilia, the Museum celebrates the deep musical, cultural and social influence that continues to impact society and live on in a relevant way today around the world.

“As we protect, preserve and narrate the deep cultural, social, and historical significance of the Motown legacy, we are grateful to TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants for their support of the Museum,” said Robin Terry, chairwoman and CEO of the board of trustees of Motown Museum.
