• Freeland, Midland Dow shut out in girls soccer regional semifinal losses (mlive.com) — Freeland High’s girls soccer season ended Tuesday with a tight 1-0 regional semifinal loss to Fremont in Clare, closing the Falcons’ year at 14-6-3. Midland Dow also bowed out, falling 3-0 to Rockford, as both Saginaw Valley teams saw strong playoff runs come to a close.
