Locals can still register floats, vehicles, or marching groups for the Grand Parade and find full schedules and signup links online.
   

• National Weather Service rates Otsego Lake waterspout EF-0 (upnorthlive.com) — A recent National Weather Service survey from its Gaylord office confirmed that last week’s Otsego Lake waterspout was an EF-0 tornado with 65 mph winds. The storm flipped boats and lifts and damaged trees along the lake’s western shore during its brief 2.6‑mile path.
