• Consumers Energy restores 6,700 acres for public use across Michigan (9and10news.com) — Consumers Energy has restored more than 6,700 acres for public recreation, including the Gaylord snowmobile trail that runs along its utility land and offers winter access for local riders. The company is turning utility corridors into trails, parks and other public spaces statewide and says it plans to keep expanding these community partnerships.
