Grand Raggidy Roller Derby Hosts Scrimmage Night in Grandville on May 30
Two scrimmages, a halftime K-pop & hip hop performance, local vendors, food, and community spirit — all at JAM Sports
GRANDVILLE, MI — May 2025 — Grand Raggidy Roller Derby (GRRD) is proud to host Scrimmage Night on Friday, May 30, 2025, at JAM Sports, 3125 28th St SW, Grandville, MI 49418.
Doors open at 4:00 PM with the first scrimmage beginning at 4:30 PM.
Two Scrimmages on the Track
The evening features two scrimmages highlighting skaters at different stages of their derby journey:
Freshie Scrimmage (4:30 PM): Newer skaters from different teams competing together, celebrating the next generation of roller derby athletes.
A/B Level Scrimmage (~6:30 PM): Advanced and intermediate skaters from multiple teams showcasing high-energy, skilled roller derby.
Halftime Performance: HOODIEZ
Between bouts, the crowd will be treated to a live halftime performance by HOODIEZ, a dynamic K-pop cover dance and hip hop group. Their high-energy, choreographed performance is sure to be a highlight of the evening and a fantastic complement to the on-track excitement.
