Here are the top three stories in Grand Rapids today:
- Mayor Rosalynn Bliss delivered her annual State of the City address Tuesday night. In the address, Mayor Bliss highlighted the good parts of Grand Rapids while addressing future plans. Mayor Bliss wants to focus on improving public safety, housing, economic opportunity, sustainability, and climate actions. (WZZM13.com)
- Grand Rapids' LeBon Macaron is raising financial support for Ukraine. Their popular Cake Batter flavor has been decorated in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag, with proceeds being directed to the European country. So far, they have raised $4,000 with a goal of $10,000. (WZZM13.com)
- Aundrea Nicole Allen was sentenced on Tuesday for her role in the Grand Rapids riots. Allen has been sentenced to two years of probation with time served after pleading guilty in January. The riots cost the City of Grand Rapids $2 million in damages. (WOODTV.com)
