• Coast Guard: Search for missing boater on Lake St. Clair suspended (freep.com subscription) — Grosse Pointe Farms residents may want to know that local police joined the Coast Guard and several metro Detroit agencies searching Lake St. Clair for a 74-year-old Canadian boater who fell overboard near the Grosse Pointe Yacht Club. After extensive air and water efforts through Sunday, the Coast Guard suspended its search pending any new information, while local authorities have not yet reported further developments.
