• Father, daughter escape house fire in Grosse Pointe Park (candgnews.com) — A Grosse Pointe Park father and his 11-year-old daughter escaped unharmed after their Wayburn Street home was destroyed by fire on the morning of June 24. Public safety officers from the Park, the City, and the Farms responded, finding the house fully engulfed but ultimately extinguishing the blaze, which investigators currently believe was electrical in origin.
