Burger Pointe

Overview:  Do one thing and do it well.  Burger Pointe's focus is simple: burgers and fries.

The Drinks: Coke products are available, but why bother with a Coke when there are milkshakes on the menu.  Banana, strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate are always available with seasonal options as well.  The milkshakes are extra thick and handmade.

Soups: A number of house made soups are ideal for cold winter days.  Chicken noodle, broccoli cheese, and lobster bisque are just a few of the varieties.  One salad, the BP Wedge, is served with bleu cheese, bacon, and tomato.

Burgers:  Three types: regular patties, Chop House stuffed, and pucks (sliders).  Stuffed burgers include bacon and bleu cheese or jalapeno and cheddar.  Over 40 free toppings are available for the burgers.  According to their website, there are over 525,000 burger combinations.

Veggie, turkey, and grilled chicken options are also available.

Sides: Fries, sweet potato fries, and onion rings.  BBQ Fries served with chipotle BBQ sauce are spicy and sweet.

Signature Burger:  Part of the fun of Burger Pointe is building your own burger.  My favorite burger is 2 patties, bacon, cheddar cheese, fresh jalapeno, red onion, lettuce, tomato, and jalapeno mustard. Sure, it's spicy, but it is also delicious.

Specials: Burger Box Special is served 11 a.m to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and includes a 6oz. burger, regular fry, and soft drink for $6.29 (cheese extra).

Address: 17045 Kercheval

Cost: $
