Why are you seeking elective office?
To maintain the culture and mission of the Court, providing fair, efficient, and unbiased justice in Grosse Pointe Park.
The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.
The Court operates fairly and efficiently. All persons appearing before the court are treated with dignity and respect. Crime rates have dropped dramatically over the last 26 years. Traffic safety programs have protected motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians. Enforcement of building maintenance regulations have helped to preserve the neighborhoods. Public satisfaction ratings for the Court are among the highest in the state.
What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Experience, proven record of fairness, and established history and culture of improving lives. Expertise in criminal, civil, landlord-tenant, and traffic law and procedure.

How do you think local officials performed in responding to the coronavirus? What if anything would you have done differently?
The Court established Zoom proceedings at the outset of the Pandemic. The Court now offers both Zoom and in-person options in most circumstances.

The Court has a proven record of promoting law enforcement and crime reduction, maintaining an established culture of fairness, providing top quality legal representation to indigents, rendering sound reasoned legal decisions, and providing equal justice to all.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
History of 26 years on the bench. Service as a visiting judge to 25 surrounding communities.
The best advice ever shared with me was:
From my mother, who responded to me at an early age, "If someone else jumped off of a cliff, would you too?"
