INTERNATIONAL RETAILER H&M SIGNS LEASE WITH MACOMB MALL

Macomb Mall, in conjunction with Lormax Stern Development Company, today announced popular fast-fashion retailer H&M has signed a lease for the mall. With a focus on fashion-forward apparel for the entire family, the Sweden-based retailer is expected to unveil its new 20,000 sq. ft. store in fall 2015.

Additionally, several retailers currently operating at the landmark, 50-year-old shopping center also have recommitted to the success of the shopping center recently in the form of major renovations and lease extensions. This includes leases signed recently by ULTA, a 10,000 sq. ft. cosmetic superstore, Shoe Carnival, GNC and Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Champs Sports, an athletic apparel and shoe retailer, is in the process of expanding its store by 1,500 sq. ft. Hot Topic recently completed a renovation and is now open.

Other new retailers to come to Macomb Mall this year have included Kay Jewelers, Body Central, and Myra’s Sweet Tooth.

Macomb Mall is a 901,319 sq. ft. enclosed shopping center located at 32233 Gratiot Ave. in Roseville, Mich. Major stores include: Kohl’s, Old Navy, Victoria’s Secret, Sears, Babies”R”Us, and Party City. It also features more than 50 inline stores and restaurants, as well as Silver Cinemas Movie Theater. The mall is managed and owned by Lormax Stern Development Company and was purchased in May 2013.
