The Michigan Humane Society is hosting its 27th Annual Mutt March on Sunday, June 7, 2015 in Grosse Pointe Shores

Join the MHS this Sunday at the beautiful Edsel and Eleanor Ford House and help change the lives of animals

What is Mutt March

The Mutt March is a relaxed, family-friendly/pet-friendly fundraising walk for the Michigan Humane Society at the beautiful Edsel & Eleanor Ford House. More than a thousand people (and their pets) come out to the event every year in support of the Michigan Humane Society.


Why you should be involved—

● To provide care for over 30,000 animals each year in Southeast Michigan

● Operate 3 centers for animal care in Detroit, Rochester Hills and Westland

● Find responsible, loving homes for approximately 8,000 animals each year

●Reunite more than 1,200 lost animals with their owners each year

● Operate a cruelty investigation department to assist animals in Detroit (they responded to more than 10,000 calls last year)

● To continue to be a driving force for greater legislative protection for animals throughout Michigan
