Sherwin Williams, Mack Avenue Grille Remained Closed Following Wall Collapse
While the business were expected to reopen last week, worries about the front wall tumbling have kept them closed.

Fears that the front wall of the store on Mack Avenue could be as unstable as the side wall that collapsed two weeks ago are preventing Sherwin Williams and the nearby business from reopening.

In a more recent interview, Fincham said, however, that concerns that the front wall could be unstable as well is delaying reopening the businesses.
βThe street side of the building is built with the same construction as the side that collapsed," Fincham said. "Our code enforcement officer is concerned that the base of the building could fall at any time too."

He added that while he hoped the building to be open by last Friday, the situation has changed.
Regardless, Fincham said he is now unsure when Sherwin Williams and the surrounding businesses will reopen, but added that the process is beingΒ βhandled out through the insurance company.β
