Shop and Support The Beaumont Hospital, GP Assistance League
Ring in the holidays with a special Gift Shop Open House on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 10:30 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Join the Beaumont Hospital, Grosse Pointe Assistance League as they ring in the holidays with a special Holiday Gift Shop Open House on Sunday from 10-30 - 4 p.m. Christmas decorations for the home, children’s clothing from infant to 4T, christening outfits, ladies scarves, jewelry, and tops, small gifts items Gift wrapping available for all non-sale items. The league will offer a special “discount” draw at checkout of 20-50 percent off one item, per customer, that day only. Refreshments will be served.
Proceeds from the gift shop and the league’s individual fundraisers benefit the hospital and programs such as GP’s Meals for the Homebound, Hospice and No One Dies Alone programs, and the Assistance League nursing scholarship program, said Assistance League President Terri Murphy. “We’re delighted to host the open house and hope the community will shop and support the League’s endeavors of assisting the hospital,” she added.
The League, originally called the Bon Secours Assistance, began in 1948 as an offshoot of The Bon Secours Guild.
