Hartland Chamber Honors Businesses, Individuals With Annual Awards

Hartland, Michigan (December 21, 2011) — Each year, the Hartland Area Chamber of Commerce encourages the membership to nominate area businesses and individuals
that possess unique qualities pertaining to specific awards. Three awards went to area businesses and three went to individuals. The award recipient’s each received a beautiful glass obelisk with a small plaque on it at the Chamber’s holiday luncheon held on Thursday, December 8th, 2011.
Congratulations to the following award winners:

• Hartland Smilemakers – Enterprise Award (for longevity in the community)
• Satisfaction Heating & Cooling – Best New Business (in business less than two years)
• Bogie’s Auto Wash – Most Improved Business (for physical improvements to the business building)
• Janice Wright (PNC Bank) – Community Service Award (an individual who has excelled at serving the community)
• Faye Jones Bessette (Yarmak & Co. CPA) – Chamber Member of the Year (an individual who has been an outstanding member)
• Connie Brinkerhoff (Mary Kay Cosmetics) – Ambassador Award (an individual who is an outstanding mentor)

The purpose of the Chamber is to unite the membership to establish and promote a favorable business climate, improve business-community relations, and conduct programs that promote a high quality of life, and an outstanding community environment and to voice group
concerns over matters that affect any or all the members.
The mission of the Chamber is to assist business establishment and growth in the Hartland area through information, support, and networking; and to provide a means for business to give back to the community.
