Hearings on New Athletic Fields, Gas Processing Plant Set For Thursday

Special approval permit for new athletic fields sought

The Hartland Township Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Hartland Township Hall, 2655 Clark Road, Hartland, at or about 7:00 p.m. The hearing is being held on a request for a Special Approval Permit under Section 13.03 of the Hartland Township Zoning Ordinance to permit the installation of athletic fields and a gravel parking lot and access drive for use as a private park and recreation area on property owned by Hartland Consolidated Schools and located on the south side of Clyde Road between Parshallville and Musson Roads (Parcel ID: 08-07-100-002).

The proposed Special Use and Associated Site Plan may be viewed prior to the Public Hearing, at the Hartland Township Hall. Special approval permit to extend use for gas processing plant sought

The Hartland Township Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Hartland Township Hall, 2655 Clark Road, Hartland, at or about 7:00 p.m. The hearing is being held on a request to amend a Special Approval Permit allowing the gas processing plant to extend their operation until January 1, 2019 at their existing location located at 13750 Lone Tree Road (Parcel ID: 08-36-100-002). The original approval required the plant to cease operations on or before January 1, 2014 and required site restoration to be completed by September 1, 2014.
