Black Rock Bar & Grill Adds Wine Room
Hartland restaurant offers more intimate setting to expand customer options.
In the restaurant business, it's all about what the customer wants, according to owner Lonny Morganroth, so a little more than a year after opening the eatery has added a new wine room to diversify options.
With live music and more than 25 televisions, the main area often can be "loud and crazy," he says, but now the high-end wine space provides seating to feel more private and intimate.
“We have a unique concept, but we needed to expand and we didn’t want more of the same," Morganroth said. “They say (the new room is) warm, cozy. You feel like you’re not stuck in a corner. It’s a nice environment.”

The new spot, which opened earlier this month at the Fountain Square Plaza resturant, has capacity of 45 and offers a high-quality selection of wines that ranges all the way up to $2,000 a bottle. Morganroth said the move should enhance the establishment's repuation for offering rare features that already include its signature and frozen cokes.
"It's themed it different — private booths with high quality glasses of wine verses Vegas-style atmosphere," he said. “It's there if they want it."
