The school now has 696 students, remains overwhelmingly white, and reflects broader statewide concerns about post-pandemic academic performance and persistent achievement gaps between ethnic groups. 
• High Vibe owner demands 37 horses be returned in court filing (freep.com subscription) — Dozens of horses seized from High Vibe Trail Rides in Milford are now being cared for at Horses' Haven, a rescue facility in Howell, while a legal battle plays out over their forfeiture. The owner is challenging Oakland County Animal Control's actions in court, disputing neglect claims and seeking the animals' return as the investigation continues.
