The dispute, centered on Open Meetings Act and whistleblower claims, has split the school board 4-3 on key votes and leaves district leadership and families in limbo as the case proceeds.

Despite generating 12 shots on goal, Hazel Park couldn't finish enough chances and now turns its focus to an important Wednesday trip to Port Huron to stay in the title race.
