The longtime Higgins Lake resident is remembered for her creativity, love of sewing and crafting, and deep devotion to her family, especially her beloved grandson Cooper.
   

4. Colleen Wilhelmina Bentley (houghtonlakeresorter.com) — Houghton Lake readers may know Colleen Bentley through Christler Funeral Home's Houghton Lake Chapel, which is handling arrangements for the longtime Belleville waitress who recently settled in Higgins Lake. Remembered for her love of crafting and adventures with her two grandsons, she leaves behind close family in Higgins Lake, Belleville, and beyond.
