2. Sharon K. Bunn (houghtonlakeresorter.com) — Many longtime residents will remember Sharon Bunn from her school days after moving to Houghton Lake in 1960 and graduating from H.L.H.S. in 1965. Though she later built her life in Grand Rapids, her story is rooted in Houghton Lake, where friends and classmates now join her family in mourning her passing.

Ruth Ann (McKee) Sliter (houghtonlakeresorter.com) — Houghton Lake readers will recognize Ruth Ann Sliter from her years helping customers in the Houghton Lake Walmart fabric department and her ties to Christler Funeral Home's Houghton Lake Chapel. The longtime Higgins Lake resident is remembered for her creativity, love of sewing and crafting, and deep devotion to her family, especially her beloved grandson Cooper.
4. Colleen Wilhelmina Bentley (houghtonlakeresorter.com) — Houghton Lake readers may know Colleen Bentley through Christler Funeral Home's Houghton Lake Chapel, which is handling arrangements for the longtime Belleville waitress who recently settled in Higgins Lake. Remembered for her love of crafting and adventures with her two grandsons, she leaves behind close family in Higgins Lake, Belleville, and beyond.
