Members will regroup after the chair’s resignation and continue reviewing past votes, facility needs, and design guidance from a consulting architecture firm. 
• Lakes boys crowned UP track champions (mininggazette.com) — Lake Linden-Hubbell’s boys track team captured its first-ever UP Division 3 title, edging strong rivals like Rapid River and St. Ignace. Houghton athletes also shined, with junior sprinter Sam Roth winning the 100 and 200 and helping relay squads, while freshman Eli Garnell contributed key points in distance events.
• Patricia Ann Wood (rivernewsonline.com) — Family and friends in Houghton may note that Patricia Ann Wood, 91, has passed away, with her son Thomas Wood residing in Houghton, Mich.
