• Ishpeming schools close Monday due to smoke in HVAC units (miningjournal.net) — Families in Ishpeming should know that middle and high school classes are back on a normal schedule today after Monday’s precautionary closure. District officials say a small amount of smoke in the commons came from an overheated rooftop HVAC motor, with no fire and no danger to students or staff.
