• Ithaca's Hessbrook honored by Tri-Valley Conference with prestigious award (themorningsun.com) — Longtime Ithaca football coach and former athletic director Terry Hessbrook has been honored with the Tri-Valley Conference’s 2026 Karl Newingham Award for his decades of leadership in local athletics. Beyond five state titles and a 69-game winning streak, he’s also impacted Ithaca through mentoring, school leadership, and the B#4 Foundation promoting mental health and suicide prevention across Michigan.
