The service covers trips to the clubhouse, medical appointments, shopping, and social outings, giving members more independence and peace of mind with flexible, patient pickup times tailored to their needs.
   

• Consumers Energy Upgrading Natural Gas System Across Michigan (dbusiness.com) — Consumers Energy, headquartered in Jackson, is replacing 149 miles of aging natural gas pipelines across Michigan communities this summer as part of a long-term safety and reliability plan. While most work is in cities like Livonia, Saginaw, and Kalamazoo, Jackson customers are reminded these upgrades support a system that serves 1.8 million customers and cost the typical household about $3 a day.
   

• Obituary: Bruce Arthur Clark (themanchestermirror.com) — Family and friends of Bruce Arthur Clark, 91, are invited to visitation and funeral services on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Eineder Funeral Homes – Manchester Chapel, with memorial gifts suggested to Optimal Care Hospice in Jackson. Clark is remembered as a devoted husband, father, and avid Civil War-era firearms enthusiast who loved the outdoors and tinkering in his machine shop.
