Xfinity Hot Air Balloon Soars into Jackson for Exclusive Community Preview Ahead of Field of Flight Festival

Comcast today announced the Xfinity hot air balloon will make a special appearance at the Xfinity Store in Jackson on July 1 at 9:00 a.m., giving residents an up-close preview ahead of its featured role at one of summer’s most anticipated events, the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show & Hot Air Balloon Festival, July 1–5.

Standing nearly 90 feet tall, the Xfinity balloon will be a highly visible centerpiece throughout the festival, offering attendees a unique opportunity to engage with the brand in a fun, immersive way.

Inspired by Xfinity’s “Imagine That” campaign, the hot air balloon experience highlights how Xfinity’s suite of products works seamlessly together to simplify and enhance everyday life. The event also showcases the benefits of Xfinity Membership, which provides customers with access to exclusive perks, events and entertainment experiences – such as limited-time Minions collectible drops, including pins and t-shirts, available at 700 Xfinity stores nationwide through July 5 while supplies last in celebration of Illumination’s Minions & Monsters, premiering in theaters on July 1, 2026.

Standing nearly 90 feet tall and spanning approximately 90,000 cubic feet, the Xfinity hot air balloon features bold purple and silver graphics and a striking three-dimensional “X” measuring 21 feet wide by 28 feet tall. Designed and constructed in Spain by Ultramagic, a global leader in special-shape hot air balloons, it carries a pilot and two passengers and serves as a vibrant expression of the Xfinity brand in the sky.
