A judge has ordered the recalled directors at the People's Food Co-op in Kalamazoo to step down (wmuk.org) — Leadership at Kalamazoo's People's Food Co‑op has shifted again after a 9th Circuit judge ordered the recently reinstated board of directors to step down, restoring the group elected in a member recall. The ruling affirms that members substantially followed Michigan law and co‑op bylaws and requires a new board election within 60 days, keeping governance of this community grocery in flux. 
2. "Anything Goes" Sails Into Kalamazoo Civic's 98th Season (wmuk.org) — Kalamazoo theatergoers can catch the classic musical Anything Goes kicking off the Civic's 98th season with six performances Sept. 18–27, including an ASL-interpreted show on Sept. 19.
