(freep.com subscription) — While the main focus is a new Patel Brothers grocery coming to Canton Township, Livonia shoppers may be interested that the Detroit Free Press recently toured a new 75,000-square-foot Meijer Grocery in Livonia. The Patel Brothers store, approved in 2023 for Canton Center near Ford Road, is still finalizing building plans and landscaping before announcing an opening date.
