• New e-bike regulations being considered at local, state levels (fox17online.com) — Lowell officials are weighing a new e-bike ordinance that could set age limits, speed caps, and rules for where riders can use e-bikes around town. At the same time, state lawmakers are debating similar age and safety requirements, including helmets and parental permission for teens. Local bike shop staff say most e-bikes can be easily adjusted to comply with any new limits.
