β’ $5.3 million facility brings relief from decades of sewer odors in Sterling Heights neighborhood (wxyz.com) β Residents just south of 17 Mile in Sterling Heights are finally getting relief from decades of sewer stench, thanks to a new $5.3 million Macomb County odor-control facility on Sorrento and Dodge Park. The two-story building quietly scrubs hydrogen sulfide from sewer gas, extending infrastructure life while letting neighbors enjoy their yards without the constant smell of sewage.

β’ Dakota wins first golf regional title; Romeo, Eisenhower also qualify (theoaklandpress.com) β Macomb Dakota's girls golf team just captured its first-ever regional title, adding to an undefeated Macomb Area Conference Red season and a Macomb County Tournament crown. Romeo and Utica Eisenhower also punched tickets to the Division 1 state finals, with several local golfers posting standout rounds and building momentum for next week's championship in Battle Creek.
