Assistant Superintendent Leaves L'Anse Creuse for Full-Time New Haven Post
A dual employee of both the L'Anse Creuse and New Haven districts, Keith Wunderlich is leaving L'Anse Creuse to be superintendent of New Haven full time.

New Haven Superintendent and L'Anse Creuse Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction, Keith Wunderlich, has announced he is relinquishing his dual post to become superintendent of New Haven full time.
Wunderlich made the announcement in the April 27 edition of New Haven's parent newsletter, the Key Communicator.
This change in employment comes as a result of the recently extended shared services agreement between L'Anse Creuse and New Haven.

Approved by the L'Anse Creuse board of education on April 16, the agreement, which is estimated to have saved New Haven $350,000 in service costs last year, will extend the two-district partnership until June 30, 2014, but with the stipulation that Wunderlich leave L'Anse Creuse and become a full-time New Haven employee.

"I’m looking forward to dedicating more time and energy to increasing opportunities and improving achievement in New Haven Community Schools. I’ll still do some work for L’Anse Creuse, and they will reimburse New Haven for any time spent there."
L'Anse Creuse and New Haven first entered their shared services agreement in 2009 in an effort to alleviate some of the financial strain both districts were experiencing at the time. Per that agreement, Wunderlich began the dual position.
