L’Anse Creuse Middle School – South participated the Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Members of the L’Anse Creuse Middle School – South Science Olympiad team placed 28^th in the Michigan Science Olympiad State Tournament. The students placed first in the Mousetrap Vehicle event; they designed, built and tested a vehicle using a mousetrap to propel it to the target as quickly and accurately as possible. Science Olympiad is a science, engineering, math and technology competition and is designed to increase students’ interest in science, while strengthening problem solving and teamwork skills. To qualify for at the state level, L’Anse Creuse Middle School – South placed third in the Science Olympiad Macomb Regional Finals
